Yare Books: EU VAT Charges

From 1st July All Items sent to EU Countries will get charged VAT by their local customs. This is moving the VAT from the Selling country to the Purchasers country. The UK has a Zero Rate VAT on books which means the cost of your book will increase by your Country's VAT rate on books. WE are looking to get registered so that we can collect the VAT so that the price you pay at checkout is the total but that will take several weeks as there is not yet agreement between the EU and the UK over administering it. So until then expect a charge when the item is delivered to you.
